Documents to be carried to CLAT Exam Center

Applicants must carry any of the following photo ID proofs for identity verification, along with the admit card for CLAT Exam. The list shall be as follows:

â–ºPhoto identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead along with a photograph

â–ºPhoto identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead along with a photograph

â–ºDriving License

â–ºVoter’s ID Card

â–ºValid recent Identity Card issued by a recognised College/ University

â–ºBank Passbook with a photograph

â–ºAadhar card with a photograph/ Employee ID/ Bar Council Identity Card

 

Instructions for CLAT Exam Centers

All applicants are advised to follow the important CLAT Exam Day Instructions mandatorily;

. Carry all the documents along with the admit card to the CLAT Exam City without fail.

. Ensure that you do not carry any unrequired objects to the test centre, such as paper chits or electronic devices like mobile phones, Bluetooth, earphones, pager, health band, etc.

. Reach the respective CLAT exam centre at least one hour before the start of the test.

. You shall not be permitted to enter the Exam Center after the reporting time.

. Handle the OMR sheet carefully to prevent damage, and you can only perform rough work on the space available in the exam booklet.

Q. What documents are to be carried along with the admit card on the day of the exam?

The following documents need to be carried along with the admit card on the day of the exam:

  • Voter identity card
  • Driving license
  • Passport
  • Any government ID proof

Q. Can I carry a black and white printout of the Admit card? to the CLAT Exam Center?

Yes. Candidates need to carry a black and white printout of the Common Law Admission Test Admit Card to the examination center. Candidates will not be allowed to write the exam if they do not carry the admit card to the center.

Q. Do I need to submit my Admit Card at the exam center?

No, the authorities will check the admit card only for the candidate verification. After verification, the authorities will return your admit card.

Q. Is the Calculator allowed in the CLAT Exam?

No, the Calculator is not allowed in the CLAT Exam. Also, electronic gadgets are not allowed in the exam hall. You must ensure to follow the complete CLAT Exam Day Instructions without violating.

Q. Can I carry my personal hand sanitizer to the exam centre ?

Yes, you can carry your own personal hand sanitizer of 50 ml to the exam hall.
