The Consortium of National Law university has released the result of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2023 both UG and PG. Candidates can check and download their Result from the official website of the Consortium of National Law Universities i.e., www.consortiumoflnus.ac.in.

The Common Law Admission Test 2023 (the “CLAT 2023”) was conducted on Sunday, December 18, from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. at 127 Test Centres in 23 States and 2 Union Territories across India. CLAT 2023 scores were tabulated and verified on Thursday, December 22, 2022.

The overall attendance percentage for CLAT 2023 was approximately 94.87%. of the candidates, who appeared for CLAT 2023, 56% are Females, 44% are Males, and 2 candidates are Transgender.

Participating National Law Universities will conduct the admissions process to the five-year integrated UG and PG programmes commencing in the Academic Year 2023-24 based on CLAT 2023 scores.

Apart from 22 NLUS, 61 non-NLU affiliate universities will use CLAT 2023 scores for admissions to five-year integrated UG and PG law programmes commencing in the Academic Year 2023-2024.

● The duration of the test was 120 minutes (160 minutes for PwD/ SAP candidates entitled to compensatory time).

● CLAT 2023 UG had 5 sections, with a total of 150 questions. One question was withdrawn in the Final Answer Key. Hence, the total number of questions is 149.

● The highest mark secured in CLAT 2023 UG is 116.75

3. CLAT 2023 scorecard will be displayed on the screen.

Counselling Process

According to Notification of the Consortium, Candidates will have to register for their counselling process and fill up preference from 28 December 2022 6 PM with a fee of Rs. 30,000 for General candidates and Rs.20,000 for ST/SC/OBC/BC/EWS/PWD and other reservation candidates to block the seat. The Candidates can "Freeze", 'Float' or 'exit' the seat upload documents and pay fee to the NLUs till 6PM 12 January 2023The first allotment list will be released on 18 January 2023 10.30AM.

The 2nd allotment list will be released on 27th January, 2023. 10.30 AM.The 3rd, 4th and 5th allotment list will be released on 25th May, 2023 10.30 AM. The 4th and 5th allotment list will be released on 5th, and 15th June, 2023 respectively respectively. Candidates are advised to read the clat calendar carefully by visiting the official website. i.e., www.consortiumoflnus.ac.in.

CLAT 2023 merit list an invite list

Along with the CLAT 2023 results, the consortium also releases the CLAT 2023 merit list and invite lists for both UG and PG programmes. Around 5 times more candidates in the number of seats offered by the universities in each category are invited for CLAT counselling. At present the 22 participating NLUs offered a combined intake of around 2800 seats in LL.B 850 in LL.M in programmes.

Since the admission to all 22 NLUs are offered based on merit cum preference. The CLAT 2023 cut off will be determine whether candidate get admission to a desired NLU or not.
