As per the schedule, the CLAT 2022 will be conducted on 8 May across various exam centres in the country. Also, Common Law Admission Test for 2022 will be held for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses.
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) date for 2022 has been announced by the Consortium of National Law Universities. Those who are eligible and interested can register for the examination by visiting the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
The online registration process will begin on 1st January and will remain open till 31st March, 2022.
Additionally, the Consortium informed that CLAT 2023 will be conducted on 18 December. Hence, two CLAT examinations will be held in 2022.
The Consortium has advised all candidates to keep following the official website to get more updates on the timetable and other details.

As per the previous eligibility criteria, candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in the 2021 are also eligible to apply.
While, students who have completed their Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) or are in the final year of the LLB course can apply for CLAT Master of Law (LLM).
CLAT 2022 Exam Subject:-
There are 150 questions in total for the UG CLAT. There are 5 sections in CLAT which are-1. English,2. Current Affairs and general Knowledge,3. Legal Reasoning,4. Logical Reasoning,5.Quantitative Techniques. 1 mark awarded for the correct answer and 0.25mark is deducted for incorrect answer.
Important data and documents required while filling CLAT Application Form: -
The CLAT aspirant must keep in mind some important points while filling CLAT UG application form: -
Valid Email Id – Students should have an email id that can be used for the registration process for the CLAT exam.
Personal mobile number – This is extremely important as the login id and password for login will only be sent to the student's mobile number.
Scanned Images – Students need to scan the image of the photograph along with the signature. The student will have to upload this image during the CLAT 2021 application process.
Class 10th and 12th Mark sheet Details – Candidates will also have to provide the details of Class 10th and Class 12th mark sheet details during the application process of CLAT 2022. Therefore, keep the information handy.
Valid Identity Proof – Students should have documents like a PAN card, Aadhaar card, driving license, passport etc., to furnish details regarding their identity.
Miscellaneous documents – For instance, students applying for CLAT 2022 under a reserved category should keep a scanned copy of the supporting documents ready to make the process easy and less time-consuming.

- CLAT Application Fees can only be paid online through their payment portal.
- The cost of the CLAT Previous Years Question Papers is not included in the CLAT Application Fee
- There may be additional fees varying as per the bank that the candidate may have to bear.
- The Application Fees is not refundable under any circumstances.
CLAT 2022 Online Registration: -
While, students who have completed their Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) or are in the final year of the LLB course can apply for CLAT Master of Law (LLM).
- Application form for CLAT 2022 shall be filled online at www.consortiumofnlu.ac.in
- The candidates will be required to register themselves by creating a log in account using an email ID or a personal mobile number.
- The candidate needs to fill the form very carefully. The spellings of the student's name and other relevant details have to be filled with due care. The student could be disqualified if there is any alteration found.
- However, candidate must submit their applications latest by 31st March 2022. Applications shall not be considered after that.
- The candidate will be required to fill in his preference order for all participating NLUs at the time of application only. Subsequent changes in the preference order shall not be allowed.
- The candidates will be required to upload the self-attested scanned copies of the relevant certificates at suitable places in the online application form. Any hard copy of the filled-in Online Application form or other supporting documents need not be sent to the CLAT office.
- If the students wish to have the CLAT previous year question papers, they will have to fill the same in the examination form and be charged extra.
