CLAT-UG : APPLICATION REGISTRSTION PROCESS
As per the schedule, the CLAT 2022 will be conducted on 8 May(3PM-5PM) across various exam centres in the country. Also, Common Law Admission Test for 2022 will be held for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses.
It was told that the application process for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2022 start from 1st January,2022 Aspirants can fill the online application Form at www.consortiumofnlus.ac.in
The application portal for CLAT 2022 will remain open till 31st March,2022 at 11.59 pm. The Candidates, who have passed class 12 or will appear in board examination are eligible to apply for UG-CLAT 2022, while candidates who completed LLB or are in the final year of the LLB programme can apply for PG-CLAT 2022.
CLAT-UG 2022 Online Registration: -
1. Application form for CLAT 2022 shall be filled online at www.consortiumofnlus.ac.in
2. The candidates will be required to register themselves by creating a log in account using an email ID or a personal mobile number.
3. The candidate needs to fill the form very carefully. The spellings of the student's name and other relevant details have to be filled with due care. The student could be disqualified if there is any alteration found.
4. However, candidate must submit their applications latest by 31st March 2022. Applications shall not be considered after that.
5. The candidate will be required to fill in his preference order for all participating NLUs at the time of application only. Subsequent changes in the preference order shall not be allowed.
6. The candidates will be required to upload the self-attested scanned copies of the relevant certificates at suitable places in the online application form. Any hard copy of the filled-in Online Application form or other supporting documents need not be sent to the CLAT office.
7. If the students wish to have the CLAT previous year question papers, they will have to fill the same in the examination form and be charged extra.
Important data and documents required while filling CLAT-UG Application Form: -
The CLAT aspirant must keep in mind some important points while filling CLAT UG application form: -
Valid Email Id – Students should have an email id that can be used for the registration process for the CLAT-UG exam.
Personal mobile number – This is extremely important as the login id and password for login will only be sent to the student's mobile number.
Scanned Images – Students need to scan the image of the photograph along with the signature. The student will have to upload this image during the CLAT-UG 2022 application process.
Class 10th and 12th Mark sheet Details – Candidates will also have to provide the details of Class 10th and Class 12th mark sheet details during the application process of CLAT-UG 2022. Therefore, keep the information handy.
Valid Identity Proof – Students should have documents like a PAN card, Aadhaar card, driving license, passport etc., to furnish details regarding their identity.
Miscellaneous documents – For instance, students applying for CLAT-UG 2022 under a reserved category should keep a scanned copy of the supporting documents ready to make the process easy and less time-consuming.

NOTE-
Firstly, the bank transaction charges have to be borne by the students themselves. The candidates themselves will have to bear the bank transaction charges for remitting the fee online. The actual bank transaction charges will be displayed in the payment gateway page after you choose the mode of payment.
Secondly, students should be made aware that the Application Fees for the courses mentioned above are non-refundable.
If students intend to buy previous years' CLAT question papers, then an additional Rs.500/- is to be paid.
Other Important Instructions for the Candidates
- Information regarding the details of intake, reservation policies and the courses offered along with the fee structures of various participating National Law Universities is available in the Information Brochure which can be accessed from the official website of CLAT and also from the websites of the participating NLUs. The candidates are, therefore, advised to thoroughly go through the rules, policies and the fee structure of the participating NLUs before filling in the application form for UG courses, and also for the NRI and Foreign National seats.
- Information provided in the e-Brochure regarding the intake, reservation policy, fee, courses offered and the subjects taught at various levels including the areas of specialization, etc., has been specified very briefly. For detailed information regarding the same, the candidates may refer to the information available at the websites of the participating NLUs.
- In the event of unforeseen incidents resulting in the cancellation of a Test city or centre, or insufficient or extra number of candidates opting to appear from a particular Test Centre, the Convenor, CLAT-UG 2022 reserves the right to cancel such a City/Centre and shift the applicant to another City/Centre.
- In order to claim the benefit of reservation, the candidate must produce the relevant certificates as prescribed by the Government of India/State Government and as required by the respective NLU at the time of admission, as notified by them.
- The CLAT-UG 2022 application fee is non-refundable and non-adjustable.
- Participating National Law Universities reserve the right to change the total number of seats and break-up of seats as per their policy before the final allotment. The reservation policy is subject to change as decided by the concerned Government from time to time.
- If a candidate has filled-in more than one online application form, the candidate's last online application form only will be considered. In such cases, the application fee for the previous application forms will not be refunded.
- The allotment of seats and the offer for admission under CLAT-UG 2022 shall be provisional and shall not create any right of admission in favour of a candidate.Candidates are advised to visit CLAT website regularly for updates.
Admit Card/Hall ticket
The Admit Card/Hall ticket can be downloaded by the candidate by logging into his/her account. The exact date on which the hall tickets will be made available will be intimated on the website.
